Celebrating Narcissus
Color and Fragrant
Eastern is coming and what better way to celebrate it than giving some information about Narcissus also known as Daffodils or Jonquils. They are one of the first flowers that bloom in early spring. They usually come in yellow or white, but they encompass dozens of varieties. Paperwhite narcissus do have a heavy fragrant, which I love a lot but to some people, it smells awful.
Expert Tip
If you want to mix narcissus flowers with other flowers, be aware they are secreting a damaging slime like hyacinths. I suggest you cut them and put them in water for at least 8 hours before mixing them with other flowers. If you arrange them with other flowers do not cut them again. Change the water every two days to keep them as fresh as possible.
